Rennes
 Bretagne
 Airport
 is

 in
 Saint‐Jacques-de-la-Lande
 at
 the
 South‐Western
 part
 of
 Rennes.
 From
 here,
 airplanes
 serve

 travel
 destinations,
 by

 ones.
 It
 is
 also
 the
7th busiest French airport
 in terms of air
freight.
 In 2013
 the traffic

 12.100 tons of freight.

During
 Robert
 Henke’s
 residency,
 that
 took
 place
 from
 17
 to
 20
 September
 2013,
 he
 recorded
 sounds
 in
 several
 locations
 of
 the
 airport:
 public
 spaces,
 control
 tower,
 reserved
 areas…
For his piece he created a soundscape that consists of easily recognizable sources as well as strong and complex transformations that serve as a layer of atmosphere and color in the background. As a result the work is floating between documentary sound art and musical composition. The
 presentation
 of
 that

 matched
 the
